Egypt pulls out of 2015 All-Africa Games


The Confederation of African Football (CAF) on Wednesday revealed the withdrawal of Egypt from men’s and women’s football events of the forth coming All-Africa Games, Brazaville 2015.

In the statement released on their official website, the African Football body did not give any reason why the North African country pulled out. However, in accordance with their rules they offered Egypt’s spots to the countries they eliminated to qualify.

But Burundi (in the men’s) and Senegal (in the women’s) declined to take part due of the short notice.

So here is the new composition of the groups;


Group A: Congo, Nigeria, Tanzania, Cote d’Ivoire

Group B: Cameroon, Ghana, South Africa


Group A: Congo, Sudan, Zimbabwe, Burkina Faso

Group B: Ghana, Senegal, Nigeria
