Two rescheduled matches were decided in the First Division of Cameroon Women’s Football Championship on Thursday and Saturday.
Stadium Annex 1, Yaounde hosted the match day 3 fixture between Panthère Security and Canon Sportif Fille de Yaounde in Thursday while ASFF Diamaré and Louves Minproff went head to head in a match day 5 encounter at the Stade Omnisports de Roumdé Adjia, Garoua on Saturday.
In the first match, Canon were desperate for a win, but maybe not as much as their opponents, Panthère Security that were determined to quickly put last Sunday’s loss to Louves Minproff behind them.
Panthère, took the lead in the 8th minute game, through NGOUFAN A TIOCK and the first half ended 1-0 in their favour.
On resumption of the second half, substitute Nkoumou MBIDA extended their lead.
Had it not been for the awkwardness of Panthère, in front of goal, they would have won by more than 2-0, however, no disrespect to Canon who kept fighting with body and soul to get back into the game but to no avail.
In the other rescheduled match played on Saturday, Stade Omnisports de Roumdé Adjia, Garoua, Louves Minproff spanked ASFF Diamaré 6-2.
ASFF Diamaré 2-6 Louves Minproff
