Zambia’s U17 women’s national team have pulled out of the race to next year’s FIFA U-17 Women World Cup in Jordan, following their withdrawal from the qualification campaign.
The Junior She-polopolo was scheduled to play South Africa in the first leg of the first round qualifiers (a rematch of the 2013 qualifiers which Zambia won), billed for January 9 2016 in Johannesburg, with the return leg slated for Lusaka a fortnight later.
Although, the Football Association of Zambia [FAZ] are yet to make comments on why their team pulled out of the qualifiers, the South Africa Football Association [SAFA] broke the news through their Twitter handle
