Ethiopia name provisional squad to face Algeria in AWCON qualifier

Head coach of the Ethiopia national women team Birhanu Gizaw has announced 30 players in his provisional squad ahead of their African Women Championship qualifier against Algeria in Algiers on March 6.

The Lucy were reinstated in place of Togo who pulled out of the qualifiers due to financial difficulties.

The players are expected to report to camp on February 18.

Cameroon will host the tournament, which is the 10th edition of the competition, between November 19 – 3 December, 2016.
