Head coach of the Cameroon U-17 women national team, Minkreo Birwe has invited 30 players to camp in preparation for next month’s double-legged FIFA U-17 women’s world cup qualifier against Egypt.
Twenty one players in the present squad have been joined with nine new players to help fortify the team.
The first part of their training camp have been billed for February 12 -28, 2016 at the FECAFOOT technical center in Odza, Yaounde.
Twenty training sessions have been pencilled down during the period with the aim of improving the athleticism, fitness and form of the players.
The team are also planning to play four friendly matches during the first stage of their training camp.
The second part of their camping, which will take place between February 29 – 11 March, with the aim to prepare the players physically and mentally against their Egyptian opponents.
The first leg of their qualifier, a second and final round, will be played on March 12 in Douala, with the return leg taking place on March 26 in Egypt.
