The League Management Company has handed the Nigeria Women Football League a N10 million ( approx $31,721) lifeline, for the remainder of the second round of matches for the season.
The fund will help the NWFL pay indemnities of match officials, taking the responsibility off the host teams.
Five teams in the division who lost their slots for failing to honour three matches in the current season have now been restored to the League. T
The teams include Nasarawa Amazons, Tokas Queens and Capital City Doves,Cerezo Queens and State House Queens.
However, there is no word on how much the eventual league winner pockets as talks are underway.
