Ghana Black Queens head coach Yusif Basigi is set to name his final 21-squad list for the upcoming Africa Women Cup of Nations in Cameroon.
The tournament which starts on November 19 will see Ghana battling it out with Kenya, Nigeria and Mali in Group B.
Training has been in full swing with all invited players present .
In a test game, the Queens thrashed Women’s First division club Ideal Ladies 8-0 on the weekend of November 11.
There are 30 players in camp and the coach is expected to drop nine of them to get his final 21 for the tournament.
”I put my trust in the ladies;” revealed Basigi ” especially Elizabeth Addo ,Portia Boakye, Linda Eshun, Florence Dadson and Samira Suleman. They will do a good job.”
Ghana is expected to send the list of 21 players to the Confederation of African Football (CAF) by Wednesday, November 16, three days before the Women’s AFCON commences.
