Nigeria international Ebere Orji on Wednesday won the Hungarian Women’s Cup title with Ferencvaros.
The match which was played at the Hidegkuti Nandor Stadion, saw Ferencvaros defeated Gyori Eto 6-0 to emerge winners of the encounter.
The wins also sees coach Balazs Dornyei’s side, successfully defend their women’s cup crown for the third time in a row, having won it in 2015 and 2016.
On the international scene, Orji, 25, last played for the Super Falcons in a 2015 Africa Women Cup of Nations (AWCON) qualifier against Senegal, of which Nigeria won 3-1 on aggregate.
However, she was left out of the team that went on to winning an unprecedented eighth AWCON championship, after Nigeria beat hosts Cameroon 1-0 in the final; courtesy of Desire Oparanozie’s goal.
