Bako’s confidence tips Confluence victory in tough away clash

Chairman of Confluence Queens Supporters Club Moses Bako, has warned Edo Queens of his sides’ unbeaten start before their Nigeria Women Premier League week four game against Confluence Queens on Wednesday, April 19.

Bako is rest assured that the unbeaten Confluence Queens will continue with their bright start to the league with a win over their hosts at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium.

The Lokoja based-clubside occupy the second spot in Group B with seven points, after winning two and drawing one game in the opening fixtures of the abridged league.

However, the Acting Secretary of the Youth Sports Federation of Nigeria in Kogi state, is of the opinion that his team will emerge winners, if the officiating is fair.

“I’m elated that my team have began their Nigeria Women Football League campaign on an impressive form,” he tells LadiesMarch.

“You know it is good to start the league in winning ways, so as to stand a chance of becoming champions at the end of the day.”

“Well, for the game against Edo Queens, I see my girls defeating their hosts at their home ground, although, it won’t be an easy match but Confluence Queens will win.

“I’m equally expecting the officials to be at their best for this encounter, because it is going to be a tough one, of which we will conquer.”
