Ghana: Darkoa Ladies sets ball rolling for men’s FA Cup

Ampem Darkoa Ladies beat Police Ladies 2-0 on Saturday at the Baba Yara Stadium to be crowned Super Cup champions.

Mavis Owusu and Fio Amdiah scored the goals for the league champions against the FA Cup winners.

Ampem Darkoa make history by becoming the first female club to win the Super Cup.

The match was played as a curtain-raiser to the Asokwa Deportivo-AshantiGold MTN FA Cup round of 64 match.
