Nigeria Women Premier League outfit FC Robo Queens have reached an agreement with one of Africa’s biggest website Goal.com to become the club’s official online Media Partner.
The partnership will see Goal.com promote Robo Queens in its various digital platforms where players profiles, team news and weekly editorials will be featured.
The deal will also see the online media site have first access to the club’s management, players post-match interviews, behind the scenes contents, images and other materials.
“FC Robo is one of the fastest growing women clubs in the world, and at one point or the other produced great players for the Nigeria women national teams,” Shina Oludare, the Chief Editor of Goal Nigeria said.
“At Goal Nigeria, our aim is to help the club further digitally engage with its fans. We will not only act as a content provider, but also help the club exploit its major external potential.
As part of the agreement which will allow its readers and female football lovers have a knowledge of the club owned by coach Emmanuel Osahon, Cone Sports club kitting firm have decided to engrave Goal’s logo on FC Robo Queens home and away jerseys.
Speaking about the partnership, Perform West Africa Country Manager, Mr. Adebayo Oluwasegun said, “Goal is arguably the biggest sports website in Africa and for us, we believe that they will offer us the needful brand extension platform to be able to sell our product and to expand the goal and the target that we have outlined for Robo FC.
