Ibom Angels shake-up roster ahead of 2016/2017 resumption

Two newly-signed players of Ibom Angels, Blessing Dabrinze and Okadike Ogochi have been released ahead of the June 7th kick off of the second half of the Nigerian Women premier League (NWPL).
Victoria Aidelomon has been cleared to feature for the ‘Orange Ladies’ for the remaining part of the season.
This was made known to the media by the team manager of Ibom Angels football club, Christopher Essiet who affirmed that the team changes was to fortify the club ahead of the business end of the season.
Essiet further reiterated that the target is to see Ibom Angels finishing in the top two spots in the their group which qualifies them for the season ending super-four showdown.
“The management of the club is not leaving any stone unturned to see that Ibom Angels win the league title and the federation cup to the happiness of their teeming fans around Nigeria”, Essiet stated.
Ibom Angels FC will face off against Heartland Queens FC of Owerri on Wednesday June 7, at the Nekede Polytechnic School pitch, Imo State.
A brace from Emem Essein in the 13th and 85th minute, one apiece from NWPL top scorer Charity Reuben and Dabrinze was enough to seal a 4-0 win over Heartland Queens in the reverse fixture at the Itam Sports Complex, Uyo.
Ibom Angels currently occupy fourth position in their group with seven points from six matches, five points behind the group leaders, Rivers Angels FC.
