COSAFA 2017: Hosts name squad ahead of Championship

Zimbabwe Mighty Warriors head coach Sithethelelwe Sibanda, has named a provisional squad of 30 players ahead of the 2017 COSAFA Women’s Championship set for September 13-24, 2017, in Bulawayo.

Mighty Warriors who are also the defending champions will kick of the tournament’s preparation this Monday.

Zimbabwe and thier counterparts Banyana Banyana of South Africa come into this championship as favourites following their brilliant performances last year.

The duo took part in the Rio Olympics 2016 but failed to shine with South Africa picking a single point in the global showpiece.
