Head coach of the Shepolopolo of Zambia, Albert Kachinga, has named a 36-woman squad for the Council of Southern Africa Football Association (COSAFA) tournament.
Set for Zimbabwe between September 13 – 24, Zambia, who are two-time bronze medalists (2002 and 2006), will wait for the draw that will be conducted on Wednesday, August 23, in Johannesburg to know their opponents for the 2017 edition.
The clubside Green Buffaloes, dominates the list of call-ups with nine players.
The players include: Barbra Banda, Hazel Nali, Anita Mulenga, Annie Kibanji, Lweendo Chisamu, Ireen Lungu, Rachael Nachula, Sharon Chileshe and Judith Zulu.

Zesco United is also represented by Grace Chanda, Ngambo Musole, Natasha Witika, Milka Limwanya, Jane Chalwe, Havel Chitundu and Catherine Musonda.
Ann Namoone and Carol Nsama feature for Mufulira Wanderers while Elina Mbewe plies her trade for National Assembly.
Memory Chansa plays for Konkola Blades as Elizabeth Mutale is Green Eagles starter.
