Kenya U-20 women’s national team dominated Jordan in friendly matches following their second win on Thursday evening.
Kenya defeated the hosts 2-1 in a match that was played at Petra Stadium, a second win following their first 2-0 victory in the first match that was played on Tuesday evening.
Alanoud Ihab scored the opener for the hosts in the first half but a determined Kenyan side reorganized to score two goals in the second half thanks to midfielder and team captain Corazone Aquino who scored both goals.
Kenya is using the build-up matches in preparation for their first round fixture of the FIFA Women’s World Cup qualifiers against Ethiopia set for September 15.
Kenya picked a resounding 7-1 aggregate win over Botswana in their preliminary fixture.
