Ahead of the mundial scheduled for France in 2018, the win puts Cameroon on the verge of qualifying to the second round with a return leg on home soil expected to be an easier affair.
It will be difficult for Guinea to score ten away goals after they failed to score at home.
Ghana also picked a comfortable 5-0 win over Algeria in Algiers.
Regulars, the Falconets of Nigeria, defeated Tanzania 3-0 in Benin City while Morocco picked a 2-0 win over Senegal at Sale.
South Africa routed Namibia 5-0 in Johannesburg while Kenya frustrated home side Ethiopia with a 2-2 draw at Hawassa.
Burundi and Sierra Leone have already qualified to the second round following the withdrawal of Rwanda and Tunisia respectively.
Only two nations from Africa will represent the continent at the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup scheduled for 5-24 August, 2018.
