Kenya’s Harambee Starlets sealed a place in the semi-finals of the 2017 COSAFA Women’s Championships on Monday evening following a 1-0 win over Swaziland.
The guest nation will now battle it out with the hosts who are also holders in the second semi-final clash set for Barbourfields Stadium this Thursday.
In the first semi-final, three-time champions Banyana Banyana, will take on Zambia in an early kick off at the same Stadium.
En route the semis, Kenya topped Group B with a 100 percent record while Zimbabwe qualified as the best -placed runners-up.
South Africa topped Group C as Zambia remained top of Group A.
Kenya maintains the record as the only side with a perfect start and most goals with 17 goals in the competition so far following their 11-0 win over Mauritius.
The Harambe Starlets have conceded only two goals and that came in their 5-2 win over Mozambique.
86 goals have been scored from 18 matches with the biggest victory and most goals scored in a match going to the Kenyan side in their clash against Mauritius.
The final of the competition is set for Sunday.
