Vihiga Queens cemented their stay at top of Zone B standing following a comfortable 8-1 win over Palos Ladies at Mumias Complex over the weekend.
The Alex Alumira-coached sides completed a double over Palos Ladies this season.
Former Vihiga Leeds striker Terry Engesha scored four goals with Phoebe Oketch grabbing a hat-trick while Vivian Makokha earned her solo strike to ensure their team keep the smooth run in the league this season.
Palos’ consolation was scored by Emaline Adhiambo.

With the win, Vihiga led the zone on 24 points, same points as Oserian Ladies but the former has a match in hand.
Oserian Ladies who posted a record 12-1 win over Wadadia on the same day at the same field remain unbeaten this season.

Harambee Starlets defender Dorcas Shikobe, and Linda Ajwang, scored four goals each with Leila Apiyo netting a brace and Bertha Omita and Rael Kamanda scoring a goal apiece.
In Zone B, two-time defending champions Thika Queens, extended their unbeaten run in the league following a resounding 5-0 win over Soccer Queens at Utalii Grounds.
With the win, Thika Queens extend their lead atop Zone A with 25 points from nine matches ahead of Mombasa Olympic who have 18 points from 11 matches.
Mercy Achieng scored a brace, with Rachel Mwema, Catherine Wangeci and Fauzia Omar scoring one goal each to make sure the champions cement their lead at the top of the zone.
High rising Makolanders are third on 17 points following a deserved 3-1 win over Spedag at MYSA Grounds.
Spedag had earlier forced a 1-1 draw against Kayole Starlet at MYSA Grounds on Saturday.
