Gaspo Youth will face Trans Nzoia Falcons in a Football Kenya Federation Women Division One play play-off set for December 10, at Camp Toyoyo Grounds from 11am EAT.

The winner from this fixture will be crowned the crowned champions.

Gaspo Youth who were relegated last season are back to the top tier like they never left.

Gaspo emerged winners of Zone A unbeaten with 34 points while Trans Nzoia Falcons emerged top of Zone B unbeaten with 30 points.

Fireworks will be expected in this fixture considering the current form the two sides are in.

This will be the first time the federation have organized such an initiative.

The Kitale-based side, Trans Nzoia Falcons, are making a debut into the top league (KeWPL) next season.

According to a letter sent to the two clubs by the Football Kenya Federation (FKF), despite earning a promotion to the 2018 premier league season, the sides will clash to get the championship badge.

“The Football Kenya Federation Women Committee earlier in the year resolved to have a play-off match between the winners of the two zones to determine the overall National Women Division One League, 2017 Champion,” read part of the letter signed by FKF C.E.O Robert Muthomi.
