Kenya step up preparations ahead of Ghana U20 clash

The Technical bench of the Kenya National Under-20 Women’s team have made two additions to the squad as they prepare for the return leg of the second round of FIFA Women World Cup Qualifier against their counterparts, Ghana

With the fixture set for November 19 at Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos  from 3pm EAT, Sarah Muthoni and Sharon Zainab from Kariobangi North Girls and Nginda Girls, are the new inclusions in the team led by Caroline Ajowi.

It will be a tall order for the hosts considering the fact that they conceded five unreplied goals in the first leg, and will be missing some key players who are currently sitting for their secondary school examination. This has contributed to the squad’s depletion.

On paper, Ghana are superior when compared to their opponents, and most likely to advance to the third and final round of the qualifiers with the healthy 5-0 aggregate score.

The West African nation will be seeking their sixth successive appearance at the global showpiece.
