KENYA, November 10, 2017 – Thika Queens will entertain star-studded Spedag in a Football Kenya Federation Women Premier League Zone A fixture, set for Saturday 11:00 EAT, at the Thika Sub-County Stadium.

Queens, double league champions, will be seeking to dominate the fixture against Spedag that have had a dismal performance this season.

Thika Queens are aim at keeping their unbeaten record intact, and seal a spot in the play-off.

As they enjoy rich form this season and currently top Zone A standings with 29 points from 10 matches, Spedag languish in a distant fourth on 17 points from 12 matches.

Makolanders is in second place on the standings with 24 points from 12 matches while Mombasa Olympic is third with 19 points.

Another Zone A fixture pitting Spedag and relegation threatened Soccer Sisters, has been shelved to a later date.

Zone B

There will be a double-header on Sunday at Mumias Complex with Vihiga Leeds taking on Palos in an early kickoff encounter.

Leeds is currently sixth on the table with 10 points, while Palos is fifth with similar points.

In another exciting match, Vihiga Queens will play a stubborn Wadadia at 13:00 EAT.

Queens need maximum points from this fixture to finish top of the Zone which automatically seals a second consecutive play-off slot at the end of the season.

Failure to win means their season-ending fixture against Oserian Ladies is a must-win.

Currently, Queens and their closest rivals Oserian Ladies, are tied on 27 points but the former has a game in hand.
