Bayelsa Queens attacker, Rafiat Sule has expressed hope that they will beat Confluence Queens in today’s Federation Cup semi-final which would take place at the Oleh Township Stadium, and go on to clinch the title in the final.
Sule who has been very influential for the Roladson Odeh – tutored side, scoring most of their goals this season have got her eyes solely on the prize as it is her heart desire to win the Cup with the Yenegoa-based club.
“We’ve gone this far only by the grace of God and we can only hope to get to the final and lift the cup against whoever we meet between Nasarawa Amazon and Sunshine Queens,” Sule enthused.
Both sides have already met once this season in a five goal thriller in Kogi, home of Confluence Queens. In that Week 8 league encounter, visiting Bayelsa Queens had to come from a goal down twice with Sule scoring the second equalizer at the stroke of half-time but a winner from Confluence Queens in the second half ensured the game ended 3-2.
Rafiat Sule has scored four goals in the league and two goals in two matches so far in the Federation Cup and she is full of confidence that she will add up to her goal tally against Confluence Queens today.
